'90 Pittsburgh vs. L.A. Rams (41-10): Condition EX+: The Steelers pound the Lambs! Big Bird's rookie season, NOD in street clothes, Foster gets late action, Woodson bites on pump fakes but makes up for it with KO returns.

'90 Pittsburgh vs. San Fran (7-27): Condition EX+: The final score belies how close this game actually was. Rod Woodson and the rest of the Steelers secondary give Montana fits for most of the game, and the Steelers have a real chance to pull an upset. Enter rookie Barry Foster... Trailing 13-7, Foster makes a fatal error when he handles a kickoff return as if it was a punt, letting the untouched ball come to rest at the Steeler 1 yard line. The Niners happily pounce on the live ball and score a back-breaking TD a few plays later, ending Pittsburgh's hopes for victory.

'90 Pittsburgh vs. Cleveland (35-0): Condition EX++: I LOVE this one! The Browns suffer through a comedy of errors, fumbling on their first 3 offensive plays (not to mention the additional half dozen turnovers they commit)! This game is hillarious! The shell-shocked Brownies never have a chance! The look of utter exasperation on coach Jim Shofner's face is PRICELESS!

'90 Pittsburgh vs. N.Y. Jets (24-7): Condition VG-: Video interference throughout the game. Game summary coming soon.

'90 NFC Championship N.Y. Giants at San Fran (15-13): Condition EX++: New Addition! Unreal video quality! As intense and hard-hitting of a football game as you'll ever see. The two teams traded FGs in a hard fought first half which ended in a 6-6 deadlock. But early in the 3rd quarter, a Giants DB gambled trying for a pick and was burned for a 61-yard Montana to Taylor TD pass and it looked as though the Niners were taking control. Trailing 13-9 in the 4th following a long Bahr FG, L.T. and company DESTROYED Montana with a crushing blow, knocking him out of the game. The Giants then stunned the Niners with a fake punt in which LB Gary Reasons ran 30 yards to set up a FG, narrowing the score to 13-12. Steve Young came in to run out the clock, but with 2-1/2 minutes left, Roger Craig coughed up the ball & L.T. recovered. Hoss quickly moved the G-Men into FG range, & former Steeler Matt Bahr hit the 43-yd game winner as time expired. Outstanding game!

'90 Super Bowl XXV N.Y. Giants vs. Buffalo (20-19): Condition EX+/EX++: Great Quality! Very Nice Recording! NEW! Definitely one of the most memorable Super Bowls. The Bills control the game for most of the first half behind Jim Kelly's sharp passing & Thurman Thomas' bruising running, and when Bruce Smith nails Hostetler in the end zone fo a safety and a 12-3 lead, it appears as though the Giants are in trouble. But an 87-yd TD drive to end the half and a grueling 14-play drive to open the 3rd quarter puts the Giants on top 17-12. A beautiful 31-yd TD burst by Thomas puts Buffalo back on top 19-17, but again, the Giants mount a 14-play drive to take a 20-19 lead on Bahr's kick. Kelly orchestrates a furious 2-minute drive to the Giant 29, but Scott Norwood's infamous kick sails wide right on the final play of the game! Lots of pre and post game stuff, including Whitney Houston's unforgetable rendition of the National Anthem in the midst of the Gulf War.

'91 Pittsburgh vs. Dallas (10-20): Condition EX+: Game summary coming soon.

'91 Pittsburgh vs. Buffalo (52-34): Condition EX-: Don Beebe catches his first NFL touchdown. And his second. And his third. And yes, his fourth. In spite of this, the Steelers actually trail only 27-31 early in the 4th quarter, and if not for an early whistle by the officials, Pittsburgh would've had another TD on a Jim Kelly fumble.

'91 Super Bowl XXVI Washington vs. Buffalo (37-24): Condition EX+: Game summary coming soon!

'92 Pittsburgh vs. Houston (29-24): Condition VG-: Bill Cowher's first game as head coach! Trailing 14-0 early in the game, Cowher shows he has some Kahunas, calling a brilliant fake punt that goes all the way to the 1 yard line to get the Steelers back in it. As usual, Woodson is fantastic, recording 2 of Pittsburgh's 5 interceptions, including a crucial pick in the end zone and subsequent 60 yard return to set up the winning TD! O'Donnell is particularly sharp all day.

'92 Pittsburgh vs. Kansas City (27-3): Condition EX++: Rod Woodson sets the tone in a typical "All-World" performance, returning a punt 80 yards for a TD, body slamming running backs, intercepting a pass and defensing everything thrown in his general direction as the Steelers scalp the Chiefs! Greg Lloyd is also particularly frightening as the young "pre-Blitzburgh" defense crucifies Dave Kreig.

'92 Pittsburgh vs. N.Y. Jets (27-10): Condition EX++/EX: Barry Foster explodes for 190 yards, simply bulldozing over Jets defenders! What a slasher! Original recording, but some video problems very early in the game. Missing first play or two.

'92 Pittsburgh vs. Cincinnati MNF (20-0): Condition EX+: Game summary coming soon!

'92 Pittsburgh vs. Houston (21-20): Condition EX: Barry Foster is absolutely superb, shredding Houston his 6th 100 yard game of the season! Woodson also comes up big, DESTROYING Warren Moon on a blitz and knocking him out of the game! After a pitiful start, O'Donnell (who's earlier fumble inside the 10 gave the Oilers a 20-7 lead) gets hot late and gives the Steelers a 21-20 lead on his 10th straight completion (a TD to Eric Green). Houston battles back to set up for a 39 yard FG to win the game on the final play, but Del Greco is wide left!

'92 Pittsburgh vs. Cleveland (23-13): Condition EX++: Foster ties Dickerson's 100 yard game record (11). Game summary coming soon.

'92 AFC Playoffs Pittsburgh vs. Buffalo (3-24): Condition EX++: Game summary coming soon.

'92 Super Bowl XXVII Dallas vs. Buffalo (52-17): Condition EX+: Game summary coming soon!

'93 Pittsburgh vs. Cincinnati (34-7): Condition EX++: Game summary coming soon.

'93 Pittsburgh vs. Atlanta MNF (45-17): Condition EX++: Game summary coming soon.

'93 Pittsburgh vs. Cleveland (23-28): Condition EX+: Game summary coming soon.

'93 Pittsburgh vs. San Diego (16-3): Condition EX++: Player of the game Greg Lloyd is incredible, recording numerous sacks, tackles for losses, and forcing 2 fumbles including one returned for a TD by Levon Kirkland! Pittsburgh's defense is incredible, and San Diego's only real scoring threat of the afternoon is thwarted when Kevin Green BLASTS John Friesz, forcing an interception and sending to the sidelines with a concussion!

'93 Pittsburgh vs. New Orleans (37-14): Condition EX++: Woodson completely dominates in this game putting on what is probably the best performance by a defensive back I've ever seen! The first quarter is literally a Woodson highlight reel as Rod intercepts 2 passes (one of which he returns for a TD and one which sets up another TD) and bats away numerous other passes, not to mention some excellent punt returns! OUTSTANDING!

'93 Pittsburgh vs. Cincinnati (24-16): Condition EX+: O'Donnell gets off to a miserable start! Trailing 3-0, the Steelers drive to the Cinci 6 only to have O'Donnell throw the ball right to a Cinci DB who races 96 yards for a TD. On Pittsburgh's next offensive play, O'Donnell fumbles the snap leading to another Cinci TD and a 16-0 deficit. NOD redeems himself when he hits Eric Green deep down the middle for a 71 yard TD pass and the game is all Pittsburgh from there as the Steelers come back to win. Chad Brown's first start (2 sacks and a forced fumble).

'93 Pittsburgh vs. Buffalo MNF (23-0): Condition EX++: The first of many Buffalo thumpings to come at Three Rivers Stadium! An absolutely flawless game both offensively and defensively for the Steelers on Monday Night! Game summary coming soon.

'93 Pittsburgh vs. Miami MNF (21-20): Condition EX++: A thriller, highlighted by savvy play by NFL Defensive Player of the year Rod Woodson! Game summary coming soon.

'93 Pittsburgh vs. Cleveland (16-9): Condition EX++: The sight of Lloyd's famous halftime locker room explosion! Pittsburgh comes back in 2nd half to secure playoff spot. Game summary coming soon.

'93 Dallas vs. Miami Thanksgiving Day: Condition EX+: Leon Lett's famous bungle!

'93 Pittsburgh vs. New England (17-14): Condition EX++: Another thriller! In spite of throwing 5 interceptions, Bledsoe finds himself poised at the 1 inch line on the game's final play! QB sneak is barely turned back to preserve Steeler win!

'93 AFC Playoffs Pittsburgh vs. Kansas City (24-27 OT): Condition EX+: Game summary coming soon.

'93 Super Bowl XXVIII Dallas vs. Buffalo (30-13): Condition EX+: Game summary coming soon!

'94 Pittsburgh vs. Dallas (9-26): Condition EX+: The Steelers put on one of the poorest offensive displays I have ever seen while the Cowboys put on one of the finest. Neil O'Donnell is absolutely HORRIBLE, throwing consistently off-target passes and repeatedly curling up in a ball at the first hint of pressure. Absolutely pitiful!

'94 Pittsburgh vs. Cleveland (17-10): Condition EX++/EX: Cleveland jumps out to a 10-0 lead as the Steelers commit 9 penalties in the 1st quarter alone! While Vinnie Testeverde looks like an actual NFL quarterback early, Darren Perry brings him back to reality by single-handedly intercepting 3 passes. With the Steelers clinging to a 17-10 lead late in the contest, a controversial holding call on Cleveland wipes out a Browns TD in the final moments and keeps the game from OT! Reception is just slightly grainy.

'94 Pittsburgh vs. Indianapolis (31-21): Condition EX: Throwback game! Oh, those horrible uni's! Indy returns the opening kick 95 yards for a TD, then blasts O'Donnell a few plays later and returns his fumble 78 yards for another TD. Enter Barry Foster (31 carries, 179 yards). Foster piles up massive amounts of yardage spurred on by an overpowering performance by the Steeler offensive line. Pittsburgh's previously stagnant offense piles up 500 yards!

'94 Pittsburgh vs. Houston MNF (30-14): Condition EX++: Barry Foster gains over 100 yards for the 2nd straight week running through absolutely gaping holes provided by the O-line! Foster runs 10+ yards before an Oiler even lays a finger on him no less than 5 times during the game! Kevin Greene and Greg Lloyd (who knocks Cody Carlson out of the game) are also standouts as Houston's offense is absolutely smothered! After running the score up 30-0, Gary Jones completely whiffs Ernest Givins late in the game to blow the shutout for the Steelers. Overall, a near perfect game for the Black & Gold!

'94 Pittsburgh vs. Cincinnati (14-10): Condition EX++: Game summary coming soon.

'94 Pittsburgh vs. N.Y. Giants (10-6): Condition EX: Not one of Rod's (or the Steelers) better days, but Pittsburgh escapes with a win. Game summary coming soon.

'94 Pittsburgh vs. Miami (16-13 OT): Condition EX+: Game summary coming soon.

'94 Pittsburgh vs. Houston (21-9): Condition EX++: Game summary coming soon.

'94 Pittsburgh vs. Buffalo MNF (23-10): Condition EX++: Yet another drubbing of the Bills on Monday Night Football! Rod Woodson dominates the game, returning an interception for a TD and nailing Jim Kelly for several sacks, including once near the goal line forcing a fumble which is recovered for a TD! Woodson's outstanding play in this game won him '94 NFL Film's "Best Performance by a Defensive Back" award.

'94 Pittsburgh vs. L.A. Raiders (21-3): Condition EX++: Blitzburgh defense is AMAZING! Hoss takes a beating, finally succumbing to a Kevin Green hit and leaving the game with blurred vision. Mike Tomzcak suffers through a very shaky performance in relief of an injured Neil O'Donnell, and Ron Erhardt calls some unbelievably stupid plays, but the one-two punch of Foster and Morris eventually pounds the Raiders into submission. Network cuts away with 2 minutes left (Steelers lead 21-3).

'94 Pittsburgh vs. Cincinnati (38-15): Condition EX++: Game summary coming soon.

'94 Pittsburgh vs. Philadelphia (14-3): Condition EX++: Superb defensive performance by the Steelers-maybe their best outing of '94 (which is awfully darn good)! After giving up a huge return on the opening kickoff to set up an Eagle FG, the Steelers give Philly NOTHING! I love defensive football, so this is among my favorite recent games! Thigpen has uncharacteristic drop-itis.

'94 Pittsburgh vs. Cleveland (17-7): Condition EX++: The Steelers strike quickly on an O'Donnell to Thigpen TD bomb and then stifle the Browns to clinch the AFC Central Division! Game summary coming soon.

'94 AFC Playoffs Pittsburgh vs. Cleveland (29-9): Condition EX++: Cleveland never knew what hit 'em! The Steelers thouroghly dominate the first postseason match-up between these two bitter rivals and defeat the Browns for the third time in the same season. Pittsburgh scores on their first three possessions to open a 17-0 lead. Barry Foster (133 yards) dissects Cleveland's vaunted defense for huge chunks of yardage. The Steeler O-line simply blows the Browns off the ball over and over and over as the Pittsburgh gains 424 yards on offense, controlling the ball for 42:37. A stellar performance by Blitzburgh Defense as well!

'94 AFC Championship Pittsburgh vs. San Diego (13-17): Condition EX++: Infamous "Three More Yards" game. In spite of Pittsburgh's complete dominance, San Diego manages to hit two big plays and then stops the Steelers on 4th and goal at the 3 to win the game. One of the biggest heartbreakers in Steelers history. Still gives me nightmares...

'94 Super Bowl XXIX San Francisco vs. San Diego (49-26): Condition EX+: Game summary coming soon!

'95 Pittsburgh vs. Detroit (23-20): Condition EX++: I'll never forget the image of my main man Rod Woodson going down with a torn ACL in the 1st quarter of this season opener. To make matters worse, O'Donnell breaks his throwing hand shortly thereafter. Somehow, the Steelers hang on to win in a thriller! Tomzcak takes a blindside shot in this game that is unbelievable (definite highlight material for years to come), but somehow gets up and remains in the game.

'95 Pittsburgh vs. Houston (34-17): Condition EX++: Game summary coming soon.

'95 Pittsburgh vs. San Diego (31-16): Condition EX++: Revenge (well, sort-of). The Steelers simply take it to the Bolts in a game my wife and I were at, returning 2 interceptions for TD's in the first quarter and coasting from there. Game summary coming soon.

'95 Pittsburgh vs. Chicago (37-34 OT): Condition EX+: Without question, the turning point of the season! O'Donnell plays exceptional football in a must-win situation. Game summary coming soon.

'95 Pittsburgh vs. Cleveland MNF (20-3): Condition EX++: Slash! Game summary coming soon.

'95 Pittsburgh vs. Cincinnati (49-31): Condition EX++: One of the greatest comebacks in franchise history! Getting blown out 31-13 early in the 3rd quarter, the Steelers score 36 unanswered to complete a blowout of their own! O'Donnell puts up the best numbers of his career and Kordell is a blast every time he touches the ball including an electrifying 71 yard TD reception!

'95 Pittsburgh vs. Cleveland (20-17): Condition EX++: The final game in one of the bitterest rivalries in NFL history! Game summary coming soon.

'95 Pittsburgh vs. Houston (21-7): Condition EX+: Another game we attended! The Steelers clinch the AFC Central. Game summary coming soon.

'95 Pittsburgh vs. Oakland (29-10): Condition EX++: Joined in progress with 2:28 remaining in 1st quarter with the Steelers leading 7-0 courtesy of an O'Donnell to Mills pass. O'Donnell struggles early, throwing a horrible pass at the goal line that is tipped and intercepted for an easy 1-yd Raider score. A few plays later, O'Donnell throws a "Garo Yepremian-esque" interception at midfield for ANOTHER TD. Fortunately for the Steelers, a blind ref rules O'Donnell in the grasp & the Steelers retain possession. Neil eventually composes himself, and from that point on, the Steelers OWN the Raiders. A great Greg Lloyd INT at midfield with 0:30 left in the half sets up a TD pass to Mills (keyed by a long recpetion by Kordell) giving the Steelers a commanding 20-7 lead at halftime. Eric Pegram plays a great game.

'95 Pittsburgh vs. New England (41-27): Condition EX++: Game summary coming soon.

'95 AFC Playoffs Indianapolis vs. Kansas City: Condition EX+: HUGE Upset!

'95 AFC Playoffs Pittsburgh vs. Buffalo (40-21): Condition EX++: A balanced Steelers offense produces 409 yards, including 262 yards passing by Neil O’Donnell and 106 yards rushing by Bam Morris. The Steelers jump out to a 23-0 second quarter lead that paves the way to the Steelers second straight home AFC Championship game.

'95 AFC Championship Pittsburgh vs. Indianapolis (20-16): Condition EX++: One of the most exciting games of all time! A 37-yard pass from O'Donnell to Ernie Mills sets up the winning TD just as it looks as though the game has slipped away from the Steelers. Gritty Jim Harbaugh moves within striking distance in the waning moments only to watch helplessly as his "Hail Mary" bounces in and out of the arms of Colt receiver Aaron Beasley in the end zone on the game's final play!

'95 Super Bowl XXX Pittsburgh vs. Dallas (17-27): Condition EX++: O'Donnell throws it away, earning Larry "I was just standing there and the ball came right to me" Brown MVP honors! O'Donnell's scatter-armed performance aside, Levon Kirkland and the rest of the Steeler Defense perform admirably, shutting down the great Emmit Smith and controlling the final three quarters! Man...so close...
