Week 7
Pittsburgh vs. Atlanta

So... Big Bird comes to town tonight. The last time they beat us (and the only time) was December, 1970. Good luck, Birdies! Alert to Pittsburgh Police: Mr.Robinson is outta his neighborhood... may be spotted trying to hustle up some hoochi mama before or after tonight's game. "Would ya be mine, could ya be mine, won't you be my neighbor?" Steelers win, 31-7.

Cya,
Nat

If the Steelers hope to gain any momentum heading into the middle part of the season, then the upcoming game this Monday night against Atlanta is a must. The team desperately needs to head into it's open date the following week with a couple of wins under their belt. If the Steelers continue to play the same good defense they've been playing and the offense can somehow manage to put a couple of TD's on the scoreboard, then the Steelers should come away winners. Make no mistake... the Falcons may be 1 and 5, but this game will not be easy for Pittsburgh. The team also needs another big game from Jerome Bettis, and my guess is they will get it. Prediction: 24-13, Pittsburgh.

P.S.-- Wish I could turn down the sound on the TV at the Ypsilanti Steeler Shrine (734)481-1431 and listen to Myron Cope on Dope.
