Week 9
Pittsburgh at San Fran

This will be the breakout game for
the offense. You know how I know that? Simple... they will look terrific and
the nay-sayers will say it is just another team beating up on the Niners.
Ciao, booby.

Pretty quiet in here lately. Maybe everyone is waiting to see how things turn out in
the second half of the season. I keep waiting for the "break out" game for
the offense and it hasn't happened. Well, the 49er defense sucks, so maybe this
week...

If Kordell doesn't hurt us too much, and if he doesn't cause the defense
to play so long they nearly die, ,we should be in this game late in the
4th. In that case, I think our kicker is the type of guy who can win it for us.

Steelers vs. 49ers in San Francisco
That sums it up for me. I don't need to hear the post-pube comments on the
Gay Bay or any of that. And I don't want to seem unsporting, but one
incomplete pass that just, by mistake, sails out of bounds and hits Steve
Young in the ear, well... put on the Tony Bennett and lets dance.
Just in case the Tony B. isn't cued up in some of the youngsters minds out
there (Pun? Sure why not?), here is a little melody I wrote for the occasion;
Sung to the tunes of Yankee Doodle & the popular TV commercial:
I'm a Whiner, 49er
If you hit too hard, I will cry...
(chorus) everybody sing;
RiiiCE A'Roni, the San Francisco treat
RiiiCE A'Roni got stuck to Levon's cleats!
